Bug: Selfilluminated is broken in raytraced

i guess that is broken for a while already, checking if i was delirious in v7 revealed that i am still healthy.

here i used a picture frame which is automatically set to sell illuminated

@nathanletwory sorry should i be tagging you again incorrect, but since that is only happening in raytraced maybe you know whats happening

Until fixed change the picture material to PBR, then set the texture to the emission channel and change emission color to black.

Just seeing that self-illumination is broken V8 – doesn’t seem to work in Windows V8 – question Nathan, with your PBR method, my graphic is lit but I see no difference toggling between self-illumination on/off – not seeing the expected boost that I’d get in V7. Thanks

a little further, I do see a difference in illumination when toggling self-illumination on/off when the viewport is set to render mode. I do not see a difference in illumination when viewport is set to shaded mode but I’ve setobjectdisplaymode = rendered, then toggle self-illumination on/off. I work a lot in that mixed environment. Maybe that’s just how it is.
