I still would call it a bug.
If MouseOverHightSubObjects wants to be a (nice) Improvement - It should not limit the usability.
even more ugly example then above / initial post:
draw a Polysurface-Box with Isocurves on for Planar Faces…
draw a “50%”-Rectangle on top
now try to select a segment of the rectangle …
I want to decide wether i get the Face, the segment, the edge, or at some segments - the other face…
There is no usage if Rhino randomly (from a user perspective) selects one.
@mikko - can you hear me ? please make the MouseOverHightlight smarter - thanks
this is one of those papercuts where rhino need more love and does not feel consistent.
