I often experience the behaviour recorded:
the Osnap Panel is great out (as if it did not exit the mouse-over+shift state)
or the Osnap Panel does not show any checkbox checked.
(or a combination of both)
the only way I found to reactivate it, is to undock / re-dock it. - see video.
@Gijs
maybe this is related to a general inconsistency of mouse focus (see other topics), some states of the UI are not correctly canceled or focus is not return ?
thanks @Tom_P I can repeat this. This is a Mac only bug. It seems this panel is not refreshed on mouse out like on Windows. Switching between Filter and Osnap also refreshes it. RH-81280 One shot Osnap panel doesn’t refresh on mouse out
the osnap panel seems buggy and the bug is more complex then reportet above
see the strange status of the panel in the capture above.
one shot snaps don t work at all.
sorry can t provide workflow to repeat.
and don t ask me / ignore why there is a disable osnap at the end (maybe some shortcut conflict with the screencapture)
The YT is specifically related to that panel not refreshing on mouse out, and testing again, that still seems to work as expected.
In your screencap, you are starting the command, where the panel is in the state it can get when hovering over that panel, while holding Shift, and no command is running. I have no idea right now how to reproduce that.
i can do another recording as soon as I see it again.
… now i am experimenting with Release candidate 8.8… the 8.7. ??? update I installed this morning gave me a horrible day so fare…
What I think would help more is to see what commands you ran before you notice that panel going to that state. Something must trigger it is what I suspect.
