Bug: Old Meshing Problem Resurfaces using Bongo

I don’t know if the old meshing problem was considered to be solved, but when I added a Bongo pivot (to the end of a line serving as a rotation axis) this old acquaintance showed up again:

The screenshot was taken using latest WIP. If this wasn’t expected to still happen, here’s the file:

@RIL I made a bug entry for this: https://mcneel.myjetbrains.com/youtrack/issue/BO-3041
Thanks for reporting it!

Thanks for reporting this. The issue isn’t actually a meshing problem. It’s the links between parents and children being drawn so densely it appears that way. This has to do with your groupings as well as how closely I draw the links together. I’ll put a fix for this in the next WIP.

For now you can disable drawing hierarchy links in the Bongo Document Properties if you find it annoying.

Ah, I should have suspected that, but I simply forgot that I had not joined the geometry, only grouped it. Sorry for overlooking that. :frowning:

No worries, this would’ve cropped up in other big models anyway so it was good you found it!
