Bug Model Angle Tolerance (Rhino 8)

I have gotten Rhino into a state where I get this dialog box every time I switch windows to a new file. I don’t know how to reproduce. It seems like something is corrupted behind the scenes.

Hmm, IIRC this was a bug in an earlier version… you are on the latest SR?
https://mcneel.myjetbrains.com/youtrack/issue/RH-78037

I’m on 8.2.2. Rhino says I am up-to-date.

Hello- what is the angle tolerance on these files?

-Pascal

0.1

Unchanged from the default.

And it goes away with restarting Rhino.

Can you clear the geometry on one of these and post it here?

-Pascal

I am getting this error incessantly in different situations. New files. Old files. Switch to file.

Highly annoying.

Hi John -

Please run the Rhino SystemInfo command and copy-paste the result here.

I am getting this a lot. Once it starts, it happens whenever I switch Rhino files.

Makes me wonder if this is some kind of bad float translation resulting from 0.01 being irrational in binary.

@tim - do you have an idea about this?

-Pascal

This is really annoying.
