I noticed that the middle mouse button (MMB) pop-up window does not open after every click in my Rhino 7. My mouse is in perfect condition, and actually I have two identical mice (Logitech G502 Proteus Spectrum) and a 3rd mouse (Razer Basilisk V3). They all work flawlessly with any other program and the MMB click is always registered. Everywhere except Rhino 7. Nearly half of the MMB clicks are not registered by my Rhino 7, despite that I clearly hear the actual click of the button. The issue is growing in the recent months. I run the latest Rhino 7 SR38, if that matters.
If I turn off “Manipulate the view” option for the MMB, the issue is gone. However, sometimes I still use the MMB to pan the view (especially when I have to leave the 3d mouse to hold some keyboard key), so the goal is to get rid of the bug while still being able to have that option on.
I’m aware that I can hold the Shift key and the RMB to pan the view, but I prefer to do it without the need to hold Shift.
I suppose that the issue comes from the super small drag threshold (in pixels) that determines whether pressing the MMD and a very minor movement of the mouse (something natural in the real life, since the MMD uses a much harder button to press) will activate the camera pan instead the pop-up window. Is there any way to set a greater threshold for the MMB, so that panning the camera will be activated only when the mouse is moved beyond 10 pixels or so?
