BUG - dimension mask

Dimension mask is displayed and printed with a thin line around.
This should not be the case.

Hi Morten,

Not seeing here in a quick test. A small example or steps to repeat please.

Which version of Rhino are you running? (SystemInfo)

thanks

Have you tested in layouts?

Tested a few variations, layouts, color, …, with no success. I am on a slightly newer version. Can you post a small example exhibiting the behavior? Thanks

you can see a video here:

Any news on resolving this?

I haven’t been able to repeat, can you post a small example? Thanks

See attached with 2 different fonts. Same problem.

Only visible in Layouts.

Hi Morten -
I’m not able to reproduce this here so far.
It looks, though, like some different settings are used. What happens when you use default (unmodified) display modes?
Also, are you printing to vector or to raster, and, if so, which DPI is being used? Is that latest screenshot a copy of the final PDF or from the layout? Are you printing with the RhinoPDF engine?

This only happens in layouts. looks fine in model space.
The problem persists to this day!
Using default display modes. Display modes don’t seem to affekt paper / layout space. I’ve tried all display modes in the detail and all have the same issue.

The thin line is visible already before printing to PDF.

Please check this new file in the layout.

The BUG is still there :frowning:

There should not be thin lines around the text.

Could you perhaps also look at this bug which still exists in layouts:

Now that you have the file.

not sure if I have that part of the file. It was missing a lot of linked blocks, but since that didn’t matter for the bug, I didn’t mention it.

Besides, pls don’t cross post issues. Feel free to @ mention me in the thread where you want to draw attention, I’m moving this there

Is this something you see on the output pdf, or only on screen, or both?

I see this on screen:

But no lines in the resulting pdf

Yes. Also in the PDF and print.
Otherwise I could live with it.

Your previous posted systeminfo shows 8.6, what is your current systeminfo?
