(Bug/Crash) FilletSrfToRail (Mac os x)

the example i used in this post about _variableFilletSrf cases a crash in Rhino, Mac os x, Version 8 (8.17.25063.13002, 2025-03-04)

using the red curve on the planar Surface:
_filletSrfToRail only gives a partial surfaces

using the blendCrv or the pulled Curve on the vertical R20 Rhino crashes.

also send a crash report

FYI. Iā€™m not getting a crash with Windows OS

Also your rail curve produces a surface with very bad tangency where it connects to the 15mm rad fillet.
To get good tangency on the ends:

  1. find the centerline of both blue fillets
  2. then use Blend Curve between the 2 centerlines and
  3. then pull that curve to the vertical 20mm fillet.

If you use history on steps 2 and 3 you can edit the blend curve by using Scale command on the second from end CV and using the end CV as the origin point for the Scale.
