I started this model in 2022 - paused it for three jears and be happy to finished it now. I like the story behind this car -thats why I`ve modeled it. Hope you like the result:
This is the original version of the Brubaker Box (1972).
The yellow guy behind the wheel is not modeled by me - I downloaded it from grabcad.com
This version is based on the Automecca Sports Van (1974). It´s a mixture of some existing customized Boxes I found on the web.
Great car and exceptional modeling work in Rhino! Congratulations!
Do you mind sharing pictures with the wireframe of the model?
Thank you for your kind words.
I often use the blendsrf-command.

Love it! It is such a cool car. Not many left, unfortunately.

One of my favorites!! amazing job, and a wonderful tribute for a very cool and very underappreciated design-
@Normand : I think about 50 were built, 17 are still alive (don´t know exactly - there are many different numbers around).

Interesting offer! I think it´s more than scaling it down to 1:64? But I like the idea!

quite a bit more
everything has to get squished around at that scale to read correctly-
Great!
What courses or tutorials did you use to learn?
Thaks for asking that. I once work with AutoCad (first contact in 1991) so the step into Rhino was easy.

I play around with Runchat - don´t know exactly what that can do for me at the moment.
Here are some results:
The scetch-images are my favorit ones. Comic is cool too! It´s just nice to have.
“Does anyone have this file and could share it? I want to use it for machining and making it in fiberglass, and also take some parts to make in 3D.”
