Design study / Alfa Romeo Barchetta

Barchetta is the Italian term for open two-seater racing cars - I had a shape in mind for a long time that could fit to such a vehicle - so I started Rhino and here we go. The body consists of 4 individually modeled SubD surfaces which were transformed into nurbs, trimmed and rounded. The windshield and seats were also created as SubD elements. The rest was constructed with Nurbs surfaces. The whole thing is rendered with Rhino7. Have fun looking at it - maybe you will like it.

Would you mind showing those Subd surfaces?

I love your model. Very clean work.

Hello,
first - thanks for your comments, glad you like it.
So - here are the individual SubD areas of the body and seat.
For the body it is:
1: Lower part
2: upper part
3: Air hood left (mirrored right)
4: Windscreen
5: Outside mirror
By the seat:
1: Backrest (seat surface 2-piece)
2: Backrest (rear side)
3: Seat cushion
Have fun looking at it.
