BrepToShape ETA?

This is a really great plugin! I’ve been trying for a long time to figure out how to get uniform patterns onto shapes that just don’t lend themselves well to a single surface.

Do you have an ETA on the next version that will have BrepToShape?

On a side note, whatever algorithm you are using to flatten polysurfaces would be fabulous to have as a native command to Rhino.

Thank you,
Sam

Thanks for your attention. In a previous tutorial, a similar Cluster (BrepToShape) was provided where you could directly input the Brep(s), but the final output would still be a Mesh, and you can convert it to Subd and NURBS. I hope this information is helpful to you

BTW, BrepToShape is one of the main features we are developing for the next version. We will share any further progress with you on the forum as soon as there are updates.

Hello! When will the BrepToShape function be available? Thanks!

You can find a similar cluster in the demo file,

Inside the demo, BrepToShape is actually a cluster that uses MapToShape to map the vertices of a mesh.
MapToShape can only take curves and points.
An actual component that can map Breps would be amazing!!
