Breaking a line into equal length segments

can’t remember what it’s called in rhino. just want to break a line into several equal length segments. i know i’ve done it before but it doesn’t seem to be called anything with break in the name.

Divide to place points along the curve.

that created points on the line, is there a command that just breaks the line into the number of pieces listed?

i stumble over the dumbest stuff. the different terminology is my biggest time waster. i’ll ask sooner next time.

for my info, where would i have found that looking through the menus?

Divide has a Split=Yes/No command line option.

Hi Pascal, a small suggestion for the “split” option: resulting lines in alternate colours.
Maybe as a command line option “alternate colors y/n”?
