Borderless printing not working!

Hi,

In Rhino 8 (8.13.24317.13002, 2024-11-12), borderless printing doesn’t seem to work. When I switch to “borderless A4”, the margin settings set for “A4” are preserved and can’t be manually adjusted.

And yes, my printer supports borderless printing.

It’s also annoying that the margin units are displayed in “freedom units” although I’m in Europe and my document is set to mm scale.

Thanks taking a look.

Currently I need to export a borderless PDF that I then print through the system print dialogue.

Hi Marc -

Yes, margins can’t be adjusted when printing a layout. The work-around is adjusting those when printing from a model view, canceling that, and then printing the layout.

Thanks.

I’ve also noticed that switching to “bordless A4” changes the scale of what’s to be printed without that being reflected by “On Paper / In Model” scale in the Rhino print dialogue.
This is obviously misleading if you need the print to be scale accurate.
