Added ‘Select animated objects’ option on timeline context menu
Added document properties and application properties to Bongo menu
Rhino versions supported: Beta testing Bongo 3.0 is limited to Bongo 2.0 users. Bongo 3.0 requires a Bongo 2.0 license key. Latest version of Rhino 7.0 is required to install Bongo 3.0 and can be downloaded from Rhino - Download - Rhino 7 for Windows
Notes: This is the current work-in-progress release of Bongo 3.0 for Rhino. The product is in the very early stages of development any will probably change a great deal before release. This may include the file format, so please do not rely on Bongo 3.0 models working in the future. Bongo 3.0 will read Bongo 2.0 files, but will save Bongo 3.0 data only. This data cannot be read by Bongo 2.0, so please backup any files before using them in Bongo 3.0.
Just wondering if there is a ball park timeline of when Bongo 3.0 will be available for final purchase.
I am looking to purchase Bongo, but do not want to have to pay for the immediate upgrade to the superior version.
Many Thanks for any information you may have at hand.
Also nice work on the active connections.
I have only used Bongo 2, it was very clunky.
3.0 looks significantly simpler to use.
Development is on a hiatus. It was originally planned to bring some Bongo technology into Rhino as the Constraints project. Unfortunately that turned out to be a hammer looking for a nail and we reprioritized on PushPull after user feedback. Once 8 is out the door we’ll pick up the development again in earnest.
Thanks for the info.
Having IK and constraints as basis part of Rhino it would be a huge improvement.
I can understand the huge work needed. I hope you will be back working on this soon.
