Boat / Render peeps

Any tips for creating a wake for a ~170โ€™ boat doing about 10 knots for render? Stern wake seems like it can just be displacement map with some texture painting, but Iโ€™m not sure how to handle the bow wake (or really even how big it would be).

Hi Sam,

I've got a couple of files that can be used for a displacement map of a boat wake. 

Here is a render I did with your Rhino plugin exporter for Octane a couple of years ago, different wake though. Iโ€™ll see if I can dig it up and post for you.

Here is the displacement map I used on the tug, just scale to suit.

Thanks everyone for the help and input. I managed to get a somewhat passable fly through rendered, and the water doesnโ€™t look half bad :wink:
