Block Edit from Block Manager

Hello,
I didn’t find the option to open block editor from block manager.

Is there a way to edit a block without having to insert it into model space like in Autocad?

No, there isn’t. Could you explain what you’d want to edit without having the geometry available?

-Non-uniformly scaled blocks. (why cannot there be a pop-up block editor space?)
-Deleting layers with blocks on them therefore having to edit the block. (suddently having to insert blocks somewhere for no reason)
etc.

I need to have a stock of blocks available and editable while keeping the model clean of them, because they are for examle just versions of one thing.

The autocad system where blocks are edited in an additional virtual space should serve as a good example.

SelBlockInstanceNamed command and ReplaceBlock command may be useful.
