Best CPU for Rhino?

Whats the best rule of thumb to follow when picking a cpu for rhino?

I am making a project and I notice during some operations like blend edge it uses what appears to be single core but high clock speed usage

My system is a bit old from 2011 so it’s been a while since I looked into it but intel was the way to go at that time for these types of software has that changed?

Buy an Intel, AMD or Apple M-processor, no ARM-processors (Qualcomm,…).
