Sir please help me, I’m confused, what is the function of this feature? between world and cplane this feature/button is located in the lower left corner. I have tried trail error but have not found an answer, thank you sir. Rhino 8

That button toggles the display of the mouse coordinates that you see to the right of that button.
With that set to “World”, you will get the default XY CPlane coordinates no matter which viewport your mouse pointer is located in. In your picture, with z=0, your mouse is in the default “Top” viewport. In, e.g., the default “Front” viewport, y will always be 0.
When that button is set to “CPlane”, you will get the coordinates of the CPlane that the mouse is located in, and z will always be 0 (unless, of course, you are in elevator mode).
