Area or DimArea in Meters in a MM model?

I have set my model in mm but would like to calculate the area in M / m2.
When I tag a surface I would like to show that in Meters instead of MM.

I have noticed that I can have choose different units on model and layout space but It doesn’t seem like I can Area-tag in layout space

Any ideas ?

Hi @Arctic1,

If you are using Rhino 7, select your area dim and display its properties, then edit the text to divide the value by 1000000 and to display the “non-standard” units (for clarity):

Make sure not to overtype the delimiter (>%).
