I have just installed the trial version of VisualArq3 to try it out before I buy it and one of the main features I would actually need and want to use is the annotations and specifically the dynamic height markers.
For some reason my annotation styles come completely empty in the install and not with some pre-made ones as shown on your sites tutorials/guides. Is something that I am missing out or are we supposed to pay this much money for a plugin that comes bare-bones?
Also I found this post and after installing it and trying it out with model space units set to mm and as you instructed the marker doesnt work and does not display the height at all and stays on 0 all the time.
Hi @Domen forget about the Elevation mark posted on that other topic (the one of your 3dm file, I assume). If you start a new document from a VisualARQ-mm template, the Elevation mark should display nicely. And you will also see the rest of VisualARQ object styles.
Hey yeah when I open the VisualARQ template rhino file the annotation styles are there. I don’t want to work in the VisualAQR template though since I have set up my own custom one - is there a way to get these annotation styles imported into my template?
Hi @Domen you can exchange VisualARQ styles across documents with the vaStylesExport and vaStylesImport commands. This way, you can export the desired styles from a VisualARQ template, and import them into your custom one.
