Running Version 7 SR38 (7.38.24338.17001, 2024-12-03)
All blocks in my model have disappeared. They are not hidden, not on off layers, and not locked. If I right-click on a layer that I know has many blocks and hit Select Objects, I get a message that says “No objects added to selection”. When I go into block manager, they are all still present. If I do Edit/Select Objects/Block Instances, I get the same message. This has happened on several occasions, only to have them randomly reappear a few hours later. Totally frustrated. How the hell do I fix this?
I found that if I redefine any block from it’s source file, ALL blocks reappear. WTF?
I’ve seen a similar behavior after a user closes Rhino with the block editor open.
The solution has been to disable the block edit plugin, close Rhino, open and enable the plugin again. Close and open Rhino one more time. Not sure if this process will help in your case, but worth a shot.
I haven’t used used block editor at all.

J’ai le même souci. Je travaille depuis un fichier Rhino créé en amont par une tierce personne qui n’est plus là, dans lequel il y a plusieurs occurrences de blocs. Ces dernières disparaissent après quelques heures de travail sur le fichier, soit quand il est ouvert, soit quand je l’ouvre à nouveau et que je découvre tout ce qu’il manque. Je n’ai pas touché aux sources des occurrences, parfois même je n’ai pas touché aux occurrences du fichier du tout, ni déplacé rien, mais elles disparaissent quand même. J’ai testé la solution de Japhy en enlevant le plug-in puis en l’ajoutant de nouveau, ça ne change rien. Avez-vous déjà eu le même souci, et avez-vous trouvé des solutions ?

As Japhy also noted, please send us the file you are having issues with. If you have a backup of the original file, that would help as well.
