Adjustment/management of the appearance of dimensions

how do I adjust/manage the number of dimension digits displayed? …force dimensions to be horizontal? …choose the “arrow” shape (ie: a dot in lieu of an arrow)? …append text to a dimension? I’m getting nowhere with “Help” and “Annotation Styles” appears to be a global function that I also haven’t been able to decipher… thanks in advance

Hi Art -
In order of appearance…

Change the linear resolution under “Length units” in the annotation style.

There are “Horizontal to view” settings for dimension text and radial dimension text under “Dimensions”.

There are options for this under “Arrows”.

There is a prefix and suffix field under “Length units”.

Would you mind letting us know which help page you have landed on?

The information above is set on the Document Properties -> Annotations Styles -> [your style] pages. These settings are also available per individual dimension when you select an annotation and look in the Properties page.
In the white field containing <> in this picture, you can append individual text either in front or behind that <> string.
