AddTextDot and AddText

Hi,
I’m facing strange behavior when using AddTextDot and AddText. It is only viewable in Front/Left viewport and no text can be seen from perspective/top viewport. I’m using the latest update SR32!
Is it normal and always have been like this or is a bug?

Hello- that certainly looks wrong to me. Can you post a file with one or two of these, or send to tech@mcneel.com?

-Pascal

Hi Pascal, Thanks for reply!
I have sent it via Rhino - Upload to Support to that email address!

Hi -
That looks fine here:

From your screenshot, it looks like the Top and the Perspective viewports are in Shaded mode, whereas the Front and Left viewports are in Wireframe. Are the dots visible when you put the Perspective viewport in Wireframe mode?

Apart from that, please run the Rhino SystemInfo command and copy-paste the result here.

Yes, you are right. I didn’t know it is only visible in wireframe mode!

Hi -

It isn’t. You have probably changed the settings for the Shaded display mode. Make sure that Show text is not unchecked.

Yeah I found that option and it was unchecked! Thank you Wim!
