What am I missing here? You seem to be able to add tabs to the popup toolbar, but when you close the popup and re-open the tabs are gone?
Bumping. Any ideas how to make these tabs permanent in the popup?
One last bump.
Any way to add persistent tabs to the popup toolbar? Working in fullscreen will be a whole lot easier…
added to the list-
not sure if the mechanism that allows the MMB can actually do this, but I’ll toss it to the devs and let them tell me that I can’t.
RH-86573 Add tabs to MMB toolbar
‘Tab’ is reserved for Sub-D Smooth Mode. Push-Pull Mode employing ‘Tab’ is convenient, but it contradicts with ‘Sub-D’; thus, all Pop-up functions must be command based.
Take a note on top of this subject; Or, talk to Uncle Bob over coffee. Bringing a sketch book helps since you are good at sketching ideas.
Hi @ftzuk
This kind of worked in older Rhino versions up to V7. When I say “kind of” I mean it was and is a bugged thing like most of Rhino’s toolbar interface which in V8 is even more flawed.
I have a tabbed middle mouse button popup in V7 but no longer use it as it was one of the things that always went missing or reverted back to the default middle mouse button popup for no reason.
These bugs are still in V7…
Macros suddenly loose their names on the buttons and have a generic macro number title like Macro 16 or Macro 4
Middle mouse looses it’s custom popup and reverts to the default for no reason especially if it has tabs on it.
How hard can it be to add tabs to a pop-up menu and make it work?
Why would a program randomly hose your workspace and do it for over 4 versions of software since V3?

different tab…
tabbed toolbars, not the Tab key..
While, as Kyle pointed out, this is irrelevant to the current topic, it’s also wrong. On my systems the Tab key locks/unlocks the AutoCPlane…
