Add Rounded Corners To Single Planar Surface?

Hello Forum, I have received a bunch of geometry in a file, which has lots of single planar surfaces. I need to quickly add rounded corners to these surfaces. I’m not sure if this is a stupid question, but how can I quickly ‘fillet’ or ‘round’ the corners of these single surfaces ? Screenshot attached

Hello- In plain Rhino, DupBorder > FilletCorners > PlanarSrf.… kinda gets you there.

This plug-in includes a FilletSrfCorner command -
FilletNonPlanar.rhp (33.5 KB)
I see this does not work on interior corners… sigh.

I guess I would DupBorder all the surfaces, delete the surfaces to leave the border curves, then use FilletCorners on all the curves at once. Then use PlanarSrf to remake the surfaces and delete the borders.

This should work as long as you don’t have any interior holes…

@Helvetosaur @pascal thanks both for chipping in. It’s one of those simple things I’ve never had to do before and was thinking am I being stupid . Seems crazy that Rhino doesn’t have native capability to do this :person_shrugging:t4: . Anyway both your suggestions are fine but that little plugin Pascal is great :+1:t4:
