Hello, everyone, The following is the way I tried, using rhino instructions smash / squish to flatten the surface and draw the curve for projection, but the result is distorted. I want to ask what is wrong with this idea? surface.gh (253.7 KB) [surface1]

The first option works well if you run the “ShrinkTrimmedSrf” command on the 3D surface: [shrink] The second option is more distorted, but I was able to get it oriented correctly using the “Dir” command and reversing the V.
