A quick way to determine which layer the locked item is on (manual or layer locked)
Currently, there doesn’t seem to be any quick way to find which locked layer the object is on.

HEY J,
Use the unlock selected command, then select the object you just unlocked, and go to the attribute properties tab to find out which layer it is on.
That is the best you can do.
