6 SR6 candidate and license manager error -200

Just a heads up that on the machines we have installed SR6 candidate on have experienced the license manager -200 error. It is only two machines so far, but both experienced the error. Both were solved by repairing the installation (going to Control Panels-> Programs and Features -> Selecting Rhino 6, right clicking and selecting Change, then hitting repair), and rebooting.

Again, small sample size, but thought you might want to know,
Sam

Have not seen your post. Just got the same now.

Had the same - repaired the install and restart helped to fix it.

Grr. Can you please zip up all the recent (last couple weeks) of Rhino*.log files in your temp folder and PM them to me?

I’m unclear as to which logs your are asking for, is this C:\Users\[user]\AppData\Roaming\McNeel\Rhinoceros\6.0\logs?

under %TEMP% the files starting with Rhino and ending in .log

Nevemrind. I’m able to reproduce this by installing the latest 6.5, and then the latest 6.6 RC.

It appears that having 6.6 be a little older in time than 6.5 causes this problem. I’m in the process of figuring out why right now.

same thing here

I just published a new 6.6 so that this doesn’t continue to happen all week.

The workaround is to repair the installation, as @SamPage said.
