Im hoping someone can help me on exporting some 2D data for cnc. I have this weird 2d shape and I need to export it as a DXF however the export result presents extended loops.
Would be really usefully if some is able to share their 2D CNC export settings.

Export scheme: Standard creates good DXFs.
Looks like the importing app has difficulties?
You can _Convert the splines to arcs and lines only.
Then export this result.
The curve is open (endpoints do not match), try closing it to see if that fixes it.
@Charles - I did look at the covert option but it changes other curves too much in when tweaking the tolerence.
@cdordoni you are right for some reason its opened during that export. I have other closed curves that are doing weird stuff.
I would be grateful if anyone has a good 2d export setting.
I don’t see anything wrong with the Default scheme…
Can you tell which software imports the DXF?
The problem related to 1000s of closed curves within a pattern. It was strange I would export and discover loops in the new file. Reedit the the data and export with some more random loops. I have never come across that before. The workaround was to explode the curves and the export. So it appears the issue relates to joining and not the exporting
