Hi @rene1, This sounds like it could be mainly 2 x contributors to the size, although there are a few others.

  1. Try SaveSmall and see how large the file size is.
    SaveSmall saves everything except the render meshes, so if the file is smaller after savesmall then the size difference is all the render meshes.
  2. Try running the Purge command and then save the file out with save small and see what the new file size is like.
  3. If you are trying to send the file to someone and they don’t need all the Vray materials etc. then run:
    -_SaveSmall SavePluginData=No
    WARNING: Do not do this on your main workfile else you will lose all your Vray settings and materials! Save to a new Filename!
