Zoom and pan are too sensitive with mouse wheel or mouse movement

Im using Version 6 SR24
(6.24.20079.23341, 3/19/2020).

My mouse settings are too sensitive for zoom and panning in the perspective viewport and I’ve tried modifying them in the Rhino Options, View - pan & zoom settings but can seem to find a happy medium I using a Microsoft wireless mouse 5000. It feels like the sensitivity changed with a past update and its making it very difficult to use.

any suggetions?

Is this only happening in Rhino? Are you using mouse drivers specifically for your mouse, or the standard Windows drivers?

Yes im using the standard Microsoft HID compliant mouse driver from windows. the Pan & Zoom features are the only issue im having. it way too senstive and i cant seem to find a setting that reduces the sensitives much.
