Woman's Tote Bag

I made a Tute following the available guides. I’m grateful that the process is becoming easier as I better understand the commands suited for varying tasks. I hope to continue developing my skills in Rhino, becoming more proficient and using it more effectively for my needs.

nicely done!

remember the offset loose option to keep your inner surfaces lighter.. offset without the loose option tends to make overly complex offsets.

Thank you for your comment. I should probably try lots of options before I have an idea about when to toggle between them.

you are putting out way too many misinformed comments. offset without the option loose just tries to fit the surface more accurately, the loose option is less accurate.

its like saying the command should not even have an option.

obviously.

and in this context of this soft sided model, the accuracy of a loose=no offset comes at the expense of unnecessary complexity.

offset loose=yes for a soft sided object gives you an offset that keeps the original point structure, which makes point editing that offset much easier.

This is very often necessary for this type of model.

in this context?
your initial comment

sounds absolutely general and leaves little room to interpret the option differently for someone not familiar with its functions and could put people astray in their understanding about the key differences.

just stop.

you are looking for a fight this is not here.

move on.

you dont seem to understand that you are misinforming people and you are now insisting people to stop trying to prevent that. its not about a fight but you can certainly make one. also your attitude is not quite healthy, maybe think about it.
