in my user’s point of view, sub-Object and their Layer Behaviour is not intuitive:
select a subobject copy / paste is possible.
But in the Layer Palette copy to layer is not possible
→ wish 1 please allow Copy to Layer for subobjects
Apply a Curve-based function like extend or offset to a sub-object
Currently, the result will be on the same layer as the input, independent of current layer.
→ wish 2 sub-object operations, that result in a new object should result in an object on the current layer.
Above behaviour should be consistent for all commands.
( I know this wish might mean a lot of work - but Rhino is old enough, that this kind of fine-tune should be possible)
Please notice - the behaviour for new object s are not on the current layer also applies for _Mesh and _ToNurbs command.
