Why no G2blend for filleting solids?

Ere, McNeel…

Why no lovely G2Blends on solid filleting? I have to fillet surfaces with G2Blend and then make up the intersecting corners by hand - feels like I’m back in the early 2000’s.

Such a shame there isn’t a SubD fillet option :folded_hands:

Am I missing something?

Cheers,

Andy

Did you try BlendEdge ?

Curious to hear more about “a SubD fillet option” - what do you mean when you say that?

Hi Menno,

It’s probably me not knowing what I’m talking about… I seem to remember using Fusion 360 when it was first released when it had absorbed T-Splines. I used to import certain models to play around with filleting rather than doing it in Rhino. It didn’t always work, but it appeared to be more powerful - especially with intersections such as that.

As I’ve stated previously - I’ve been out of the game for a few years in a different vocation, so I’m rusty… I’ll have a look at WIP 9 though.

Cheers,

Andy
