Why does offsetting a curve give way more control points in the new curve that the original, and can this be changed?
Hello - offsetting other than in particular cases (lines, exact arcs etc) is not exact as far as nurbs goes - the result is approximated to a tolerance with a fitted curve. The Loose option will keep the point structure at the expense of accuracy.
