I’m curious about what is circle packing and it’s uses and applications. Why because I see a lot of questions and answers related to this term. I don’t no know anything about it.

Well in my case it was for fitting as many circular parts onto rectangular sheets as possible to get the most sheet material utilisation.
Nesting software may have been better but it was interesting to try some circle packing.

It can be used for anything really, maybe a facade pattern, maybe a way to define spacial relationships, a way to set distances, etc. etc. etc.
