WAF file grasshopper

Hi everyone,
For a school project, we are working on transferring a position in the room (with sensors) to a sound that is being manipulated by your position in the room. We were wondering how we could read a WAF or mp3 file through rhino and be able to change the pitch and speed from our input.
Thanks in advance!

Its not very clear what exactly you want. In general there are ways to input the sounds as wave length into Grasshopper.

I have experience using G-Howl back in 2011, but it hasn’t been updated in a long time seems some other people use firefly

Have a look in the forum:

You basically need some plug in that will connect grasshopper with an external software that can break the sound into its frequencies
