VRay not working

Installed a new memory stick this afternoon and now V-Ray beta isn’t working. I installed the newest beta. I get the tool bar. I can drag materials from the Express tool bar to geometry and I can open the Asset Editor

But when I click Render nothing happens.

The network server icon on my taskbar says it’s running.

Any thoughts on where to trouble shoot this? I need a render for tomorrow morning.

Does your CPU usage go up?
If it does, you might have your VFB placed somewhere outside of the screen.

A possible solution for this is:

  • Find the following file: C:\Users…\AppData\Roaming\Chaos Group\V-Ray for Rhinoceros\FrameBufferState.fbs
  • Delete the file
  • Restart Rhino and start Rendering
