During watching this video (https://youtu.be/HEYYl0M3ynk) on youtube, I got curious about how students made this colour gradation

Because normal colour gradient component in grasshopper make a single colour in one straight line. The only method that I know is to divide curve into several points and make gradient on each point, but it couldn’t render same as this image. It seems simple but have no idea how to do it.
Can anyone advise me how to do it?
