Using the simplest of Sub-D forms, the box, we start an organic cartoon hand. Then, we use several basic commands – extrude / move / scale / rotate – and easily ‘grow’ the hand organically. Sub-Ds can be intimidating, but this video and your favorite 3D nerd, Professor 3D Dave, show you how easy and fun it can be.

Thank you!
I have been referring my students to your hand demo for a few years. It is excellent! But, I thought this was a good option … and slightly easier and faster for beginners.
