Can anyone change the absolute tolerances for an existing file via the Options page - Model Units? Here, I can’t, I can put a new value in the box, but it doesn’t “stick”. If I use the command line (-Options Units…) it works. Furthermore, I am unable to change anything else on that same page, display precision, etc… I am able to change the values on the Layout Units page… Very odd.
This is the current SR11 release candidate, for those that have this build, can you please do a quick check? I would like to know if it’s a global thing or just on my end.
Edit: checked this on two different machines, same build, same problem.
OK, I’m seeing this on yet a third computer here. However, it seems to be intermittent… Just now it was happening, and now suddenly it stopped… --Mitch
Mitch, I can reproduce the Units problem using the Units command (alias) but it works correctly using DocumentProperties - is that what you see? That one is being worked on as we speak.
I was seeing with all entries on the DocProperties Model units page; and both on my workstation plus my laptop. Here at home, the first time I fired up Rhino, it did it also, but now it seems to have started working correctly again. Let me fire up my laptop and try again… --Mitch
Edit: So what I’m seeing is that the first time I try, it refuses to accept the changes, but the next time, it starts working. However, on my workstation at school, it never started working…
I’ve had similar behavior in the past. Could not make changes on the Document Properties page if Units is selected when I first open the page, but after selecting another item and go back to Units I could make the changes. Don’t remember having that problem recently though.
