V8 Script component missing code input

The new Script component with pickable language is great, and I’m over the moon to see Python3 here.

But I miss the code input. Any chance to get that back? Or is there a different functionality we’re supposed to use to avoid duplicating code?

Rhino 8 How to use input code in Grasshopper script component

According to the error text, it is necessary to set the override language on the parameter [image] You can also set it to automatic and then add the following line at the beginning of your code: //#! csharp #! python [script]

How did you get the script input parameter? Mine doesn’t have that.

I would vote for greater discoverability, there’s nothing at all to indicate that.
Now I wonder which other components have hidden key-combo Easter eggs that I’ll never find.
