just installed rhino 6 and it needs license key do i put my 5 key in for ver 6 ?

No. V6 keys and V5 keys are different.
V6 keys start with RH60. V5 keys start with RH50
Did you download a V6 eval or purchase an upgrade?
Either way, the V6 key code would be in the email message reply to your request or purchase.

Your V5 is independent of your V6 eval.
You can decide later if you want to buy a V6 license, a V6 upgrade license, or stay with V5.
That’s why we have an evaluation license so you can evaluate it.
