Unwrapping AsRigidAsPossible and Symmetry

I did some trial with uv unwrapping of a subD object where I use SubD Symmetry.

When unwrapping the object and using the edges on the symmetry plane as seams and using conformal unwrapping with symmetry option in unwrapping, all is good. See image. I extracted the boundary of one side and mirrored it to the other side. Both sides are perfectly in symmetry.

when using AsRigidASPossible the symmetry is not matching

Thanks for this report. I’ve filed it as https://mcneel.myjetbrains.com/youtrack/issue/RH-80241 . It appears to be a bug in the ARAP unwrap method.
