Unroll Polysurface to Coherent Planes

Hello all,

I’m having trouble unrolling a polysurface into a set of surfaces; the plane orientations are mixed up. Does anyone know a robust way to unroll a polysurface while preserving the original surface orientations?

Hi,

That didn’t quite solve the issue— the planes were still misaligned.

But your suggestion actually pointed me in the right direction!
Turns out the plane orientation in Grasshopper is influenced by how the surfaces are drawn in Rhino. By consistently drawing the surfaces in the intended orientation, I’m now getting the correct results.
