Uninstall plug in

I had install a plug in out of system folder. I had upload it from server. I worked very well untill we update the server and rhino8 opening is very slow. I think it is a plug in loadin issue. Is there a possibility to delete the plug in? How is possible it is so difficult?!

Hi Michele -

Have you tried disabling the plug-in in the Plug-In Manager and restarting Rhino?
-wim

Hello Wim.

Yes. I have tried. As you can see the plug in once re-open rhino it isn’t Enabled. This afternoon I will try to uninstall completly Rhino8 and reinstal it. I hope it will solve the issue.

@wim I re-install Rhino but the plug in hasn’t been deleted…

@Tom_P I am using windows

Hi Michele -

Reinstalling Rhino rarely does anything at all.
It’s not clear to me what issue you are having at this point.
When you disabled the plug-in, doesn’t that stay disabled?
-wim

Yes backup the registry and remove the plug in s entry as linked topic describes

@wim @Tom_P

I have fixed my “external” plugins (there are only two).

Now they are linked to C:… But rhino still need 1 minute to open a void file.

So, I think it is not a issue that involve plugins links. what could be?

PS: We update only the link of server where we work… And the licenses aren’t in zoo.

HI Michele -

Please try to launch Rhino with the stopwatch flag. That prints a log of times to the command history. When Rhino has loaded, copy the command history and paste that here.
