I cannot fathom out why such a simple set up fails.
dir same direction both circles their centres are on Y axis.
drawn a line between them (it has a flat area at tip)
run sweep2 rail
select first circle (smaller one)
select 2nd circle
select line
result is as shown, has a kink in middle.
try for the various options and none are better.
try for sweep 1, select line
select small circle
select large circle.
also a mess. 3rd image !
why ?

Hello - use Revolve to make this shape. Sweep2 works fine, but it is just the wrong tool here.

ok.
done revolve using just line and centre 0,0.
Intrigued though as to why it fails as seems simple enough.
If I place the line at 45 deg intervals around centre, then run sweep2 with circles as rails, I get a result.
it seems to match the revolve, If I then run Intersect instead of a yellow cone I get to see the two circles and initial line.
so if two surfaces intersect exactly is that what happens ?
