Trying to fillet or soften the edge on this object

I am trying to soften up the edge that I’ve shown in this screen shot, but I am not having any luck.

I’ve tried using a .020" fillet but its breaking the object.

Is there another techniq or process that would help me soften this edge?

This is a mold, so the sharp edge is causing some sticking issues during mold release.

There are some weird things going on in a couple of the trims. I untrimmed the surfaces and re-split and got the fillets to work.

Your main problem is the trimmed edges are way out of tolerance.
Here is what those edges would look like if trimmed and joined accurately.
Import this file to compare: ExampleX.3dm (2.4 MB)

I would suggest setting the absolute tolerance to .0001" for a model with features this small. But even at .001 tolerance your edges are not where they should be

To be totally honest I didn’t realize I had my absolute tolerances set so low… ( I normally have them at where you suggested ) so I will chalk this up as " Operator Error! ) Thanks again…
