Trim/Split command causes topography to burst!

Hello everyone,

First time poster, but I’ve used the Rhino forums a ton, so thanks in advance.

I’m trying to trim down a 3D model that will be sent to a CNC router. The problem occurs when the topography surface that needs trimming basically spills in a very unusual way when I use Trim or Split along a polyline that I Projected onto the surface.

Boolean commands all fail and nothing else I can think of works. Very strange!

Hi Walid - to trim the longer surface to the curve that is there, UntrimAll the surface and then trim again with that curve - is that what you need?
