file1.3dm (3.0 MB) I’ve a surface that has been split using multiple curves. But it will not split certain curves. I’ve tried extruding the curves so the intersection is obvious but it will not trim or split. I really think it may be a problem with rhino-i’ve never experienced this before.
I’ve uploaded the file-one of the curves I want to trim has been extruded in green.
I’m really at my wits end with this, any help would be most appreciated.
The problem is connected with the already trimmed edge of the large surface. I untrimmed the large surface and it split with no problems.
I also used DupEdge on the trimmed edge of the large surface to create an auxiliary splitting curve, and then used that curve with your curve to trim the large surface. Again, no problems.
